Cherry Picking

We did our annual cherry picking trip to Stagecoach Lane Ranch. The kids rode the bench seat in the wagon, played corn hole, rode the tiny pedal wagon, picked 10 pounds of cherries, and tried cherry ice cream. We gave 2 pounds of cherries to a neighbor but otherwise we ate the other 8 pounds... Continue Reading →

Goat Grazing Festival

We had a free goat grazing festival first weekend in June. It was a fun place to spend 30-45 minutes. They had baby goats to pet and big goats to feed and you could watch a goat herding dog demonstration. There were also lots of booths with things for sale or information on being wildfire... Silver Dollar Fair

We haven't gone to the Silver Dollar Fair since before Covid so Cas didn't ever remember visiting. We passed the fair being set up on our way to swim lessons and Cas asked about it. We didn't have anything else planned for the weekend, so we took a day and went to the fair. We... Continue Reading →

Ducklings!

At 6 weeks they're essentially full size and fully feathered. The neighbors chicks that they got at about the same time...are still... Continue Reading →

Ski Lesson

I've been wanting to have my kids learn how to ski. Before Covid we had started taking the kids to a very kid-friendly location and done a little bit to get them used to what skis felt like and such but we hadn't gone back since 2019. My second sister has started learning how to teach other-abled...
