It's been a busy few weeks. Lots of unpacking and organizing and I substitute taught for a week with 2 of the best teachers aides ever. We were really excited about living right next to an old overgrown olive orchard. The kids had 2 wonderful weeks of building forts and exploring...and we enjoyed having deer... Continue Reading →
We moved!
Busy as always! Spent Labor Day moving with lots of amazing help from extended family. So we've been living in a world of boxes. Slowly getting things unpacked and finding where they go and having minimum homeschool days. It is really nice to be so close to our build site and so close to my... Continue Reading →

Back to School 2021!
We started back to homeschool this week! We didn't start until the middle of the week because...while we had organized and gone through stuff in the rest of our apartment...we'd put off organizing the homeschool room. So we started the week by organizing it and briefly had everything organized...and then got a bunch of books... Continue Reading →
Year in Review 2020-2021

The school year is winding down which means I’m busy keeping grades up to date so students know what they’re missing, and helping Ari finish up her classes so we can return the materials to our... Forgiving April
This week has been really hard...but having lots of people pray has been super helpful and ... I think...helped God remind me of the power of forgiveness. And then I've felt so much better. I wasn't meaning to be angry, I just forgot to forgive. Things are still hard and our workload has doubled but,... Continue Reading →
Albion visit and windows!
We had a wonderful family vacation in Mendocino county. The cabin in Albion was just perfect. A little kichenette so we could make food and a fun loft above where the kids could sleep. They loved it. We went tide-pooling, rode electric rail bikes, swam and played on the beach. After the trip the kids... Continue Reading →
April box week!
This week was filled with sunshine and boxes and fun. The ivy-kids box that both kids did together was on sorting so we did lots of sorting. We sorted buttons, plastic jewels, building shapes, and letters. We created rules for sorting and found objects that did or didn't fit our rules and the others had... Continue Reading →
