More ups and downs.

Life is a roller coaster. This week Caleb and I each had something to follow up on. He called the building department to follow up on our land use review as it’s been the 6 weeks and we still haven’t received it…and when we actually submitted our house plans (4 weeks ago) they had said it was almost finished. Unfortunately his calls never got returned. I called PID to follow up on our fire flow test as we had been told 6-8 weeks and it was now 9 and we had heard nothing. They confirmed what we already knew that our back flow device had been installed but then…couldn’t find that we had ever been put on the list for the fire flow test. They had record of the request and the payment but…it didn’t happen and we weren’t even on the waiting list. So we got back on the list and will be calling again next week to make sure we don’t fall off again.

The good news was the PG&E guy called to say our power pole is energized and ready for use and our insurance lady continued to work with us easily and advanced us the next 6 months of our rent after confirming we had used the last 12 months we had received and she gave us another reimbursement for Jedi’s doggie daycare. Let’s see what the next week has in store.
