We Broke Ground!

In the midst of all the hectic craziness of this week…we finally broke ground! On Monday we got to meet with our contractor and his wife (all of us appropriately masked) and it went really well and we went over plans and prayed together and I really felt that God is leading our project through the delays and everything. He also got us set up on this cool construction app/website that lets us see documents, updates and pictures for almost every day and even had a video one day this week. Again there are hiccups…there’s a cement shortage in Paradise and the foundation has to be raised up to get the proper slope to the septic but there is visible progress! We have plumbing trenches dug and the rooms mapped out and the concrete forms are started! We also have a key so we can visit whenever we want which we did this weekend and it made it all finally seem real for all of us. Life is never dull around here and we look forward to being able to watch this house go up.
