We have a slab!

It got poured last weekend but we only make it up the hill once a week so we had only seen the pictures in the daily updates from our contractor. It’s very nice and they’ve graded the lot nicely and removed all the stumps and chopped limbs we hadn’t gotten out of there yet. They used the washout from the concrete trucks to make us stepping stones and they saved us some dirt for landscaping…or for the kids to play in…either way.

Now the foundation needs to cure so there won’t be a lot of activity until early October…which gives us some time to really get into the swing of things at school.
