Delayed Again

The next section of our house building was supposed to start this week but…because we aren’t building with wood…our wall panels are made in a factory and I guess the factory can only build one project at a time? The project that was before ours had some changes…and so wasn’t finished on time…and so our can’t start on time…they said it’s a delay of 4 weeks. Our contractor wasn’t pleased either because he has another project scheduled after ours that then he had to push back as well…he’s trying to shorten the delay as the manager of the factory knew he was on a tight schedule and had agreed to it but…we’ll see what happens. On a positive note…our fig tree had ripe tasty figs on it this week! And we’re starting to look into landscape design consultations. We want to do a fire resistant, drought resistant…homesteading/permaculture landscape so…while we plan to diy at least most of it…we figure it doesn’t hurt to have some help with the design. When something starts happening again…I’ll do another building post.
