And I took pictures this week! The sad news this week was…our property got like 6 inches of snow in one night for the first time since we’ve lived in the area and…we couldn’t be up there to enjoy it!!! The happy news was, we went out for soft serve ice cream instead 😛 Ari had earned it by finishing her standardized testing. We did lots of science this week, and we played a Bible trivia game together using questions from their Bible class. It rained a lot this week (finally!) which meant more inside time and we made good use of it. But then we were happy to head back outside for hours when it cleared up on the weekend.

Overall we had a good week. Cas and Ari also got some good playtime in cooking with their play food. That is one thing I miss this year, having time to just let them play together. As far as our house goes, we didn’t make it up the hill this week but our contractor sent us updates, and a video for the kids showing they each had 6 inches of snow in their bedrooms! and two more of the second floor rooms have walls now. Just one more to go! And I’ve got more patience to practice as I’m antsy to get up there!
What do you all have going on for February? I’ll be getting my second vaccine dose and maybe getting up to see my mom for her birthday and…hopefully getting more rain and making more progress on our house…and I guess I need to figure something out for Valentines Day…and file taxes.
