We have enough boxes around now that the kids get to pick which ones they want to do at box week. Ari finished her Italy box by learning the Calco painting technique and painted the colosseum. Cas chose his glowing animals box and made a firefly puppet (that glows in the dark). Ari chose the Thanksgiving raddish kit and made several veggie dishes. Cas chose the Ivy Kids kit Warm Winter’s Tail on more animal adaptations in winter. So…we learned about all kinds of things this week and had fun.
We also got outside a couple times this week and discovered…the miners lettuce is sprouting! The kids eat so much more greens when we go on miners lettuce hikes! We also foraged a bunch and brought it home for a salad.

Kids designed their own gloves.
