This week was filled with sunshine and boxes and fun. The ivy-kids box that both kids did together was on sorting so we did lots of sorting. We sorted buttons, plastic jewels, building shapes, and letters. We created rules for sorting and found objects that did or didn’t fit our rules and the others had to guess what our rule was and we made treasure boxes to put treasures in. Cas’ box was on music. He made a tambourine, xylophone and dance ribbon and he also composed some music for his xylophone. Ari’s box was on Greece. She learned about Greece, made a collage of Santorini and made supper 3 times this week with Greek foods. We also collected more frog spawn and have been watching the eggs grow all week and they hatched today. Updates on the house are that the roofers have started and the plumbing is marked out but the windows got delayed a week because the flashing arrived 2 days late. So windows should go in next week and the roofing will be finished and the electrical and hvac will do their mark out. This next week will be a regular school week for us but ends with our annual family spring trip to the coast.

How’s your April going? Spring allergies have hit so I have to balance my desire to be outside in the glorious weather with my desire to breathe normally. Have a wonderful week!
Looks like a busy week. Glad your house is progressing
