Family camp was a much needed vacation. Both my parents and Caleb’s parents joined us so we could all take turns enjoying the kiddos and enjoying some time ourselves. Cas loved the train and rode it almost every day and twice on the day that we got tickets to the night train. Ari loved pushing herself. On the first day that we did the adventure course she got scared part way, but I came over with her and got her through it and then she was trying out more of the course than I was comfortable with. I did push myself and learn a new route of the adventure course but then Caleb did the rest of it with her. We rode horses and go karts and did archery and the climbing wall and the zip lines. I did a bunch more wood burning and got Ari to give it a try and we all did some ceramics. I made a big bowl that is now our fruit bowl. Our last day there was Ari’s birthday and the whole cafeteria sang to her which made her really happy. It was hard to come home, we had a good trip…except for the yellow jackets. Ari got stung twice and that did put a damper on it but she still said she wanted to stay longer. Definitely planning on going to camp again.
