We have baby chicks!

I am the crazy lady with baby chicks in her apartment. We ordered 6 of several varieties…we got 7 because one variety we had ordered wasn’t available and they substituted 2 of a similar variety. We lost one chick after 4 days of trying very hard to rehab her, she had straddle leg from the beginning and never ate except the one time Caleb force fed her. She got lots of holding and then a good burial. The other 6 are healthy and growing fast. We’ll move them up to our property towards the end of August. Until then, they get lots of attention. Other things we’ve done recently included visiting my brother for his birthday and a trip to the zoo. Last week Ari attended Summer on the Run, a church sponsored day camp, so we took Cas mini golfing so he could do something special too. We restart homeschooling next week!
