Ari has wanted to get baptized since she was 2. I told her she needed to be able to read her Bible well enough to study with someone and be able to check that what they said was actually in there. Last fall, she saw a friend get baptized and reminded me that she would like to as well and then she went and told the pastor. We made arrangements for her to study with the pastor’s oldest daughter on Fridays during the winter quarter of the school year. She really enjoyed her studies and finished them by the end of March. She said she would like to be baptized when most of her family could be there and she wanted to be baptized outside. Everything came together in mid-June and she was able to be baptized at our friend’s lake. We are so glad she decided she wants to love and follow God.

Congratulations! She is a beautiful child of God!

Agree! Your enthusiasm for it is contagious. Homeschooling is wonderful and the best part about is the flexibility and child centeredness.
