We returned from our spring break to find… it was the week before Easter! And of course our spring break had lasted through Tuesday so we only had half a week to do our Easter activities. We crammed Sense of the Resurrection into two days instead of our normal two weeks. That meant we had to cut out some of the activities, but we still made our banner, washed each others feet, and tasted vinegar. One of our churches was putting on a seder so we attended that seder instead of doing our own. Ari wants us to do our own next year though. We did our resurrection eggs for Sabbath school and again at Adventurers. We dyed eggs provided by our chickens but didn’t manage to do resurrection cookies or rolls this year. Both my parents and my in-laws came for Easter morning and we had fun Easter egg hunts and family time. Even though it was a little crammed instead of having 2 weeks to prepare for and enjoy Easter…we still had a good Easter. Looking forward to a more leisurely one next year.

I’m always impressed with how much you do in such a small amount of time! You have some wonderful Easter traditions! My dad made homemade pita bread for our “last supper” supper and it was so much fun! We will do it again next year!
