Summer Routine

We have a very loose routine in the summer with a lot more free time for our kids. They can’t just spend all their free time on screens so they have requirements before they can have screen time and each screen time is 30 minutes. They also have both a summer reading challenge and a summer nature challenge that they can earn family rewards for every 5 challenges they complete. You can find our summer routines below:

Before 1st Screen time

  • Morning List done
  • Any morning chores
  • Have a plan for what you will do after screen time

Before 2nd Screen time

  • 1 hour outside
  • 1 hour exercise
  • 30 minutes play or read on your own
  • 30 minutes play together
  • Help mom/dad with one task
  • 5 spelling words-Ari, 1 puzzle challenge-Cas
  • MV practice
