Early Egypt

We’ve started learning about early Egypt. Kids have made costumes. We’ve made pyramids out of magna tiles, sticks, and play doh. We’ve reenacted the unification of Egypt and we’re in the process of making 3d maps of the Nile. In science we’ve played with blocks, set paper on fire with the sun, and made sun prints. In art we’ve practiced drawing circles. We’ve also welcomed Steve back into the house and seen sphynx moths in the yard. We’re having a great September, how are you?

  1. Happy September of Egypt studies. All your projects look like fun!
By sheer luck of the draw, we’re enjoying a flight themed month with hot air balloon races and airplane races in Reno and tomorrow is a bat walk! We also squeezed in some star gazing.
