School Update

Life’s been busy so updates have been scarce. We’ve transitioned from learning about light and energy to learning about water and mass in science. We’re learning about the plagues and exodus and 10 commandments in Bible. We’ve learned about Egypt a lot, so even though our Bible story is still in Egypt we’re taking some time to explore what was happening around the world at the same time…like in China, areas of Africa and in India. Not as in depth as Egypt, this part is more of an overview. The kids finished their unit in bells and requested starting to learn recorders. So we’ve started in on recorders and they’re doing a great job and have performed several times already. Of course we also still have art and playing outside. We took a 2 week break for Christmas and New Years and are refreshed and ready to jump back into learning.
