The last few weeks have been a wild race. Getting Ari through her curriculum, returning all the curriculum to the charter school, ordering and sorting the new curriculum… finishing the school year where I teach, class parties, staff lunches, moving textbooks, moving my husbands whole school back up to their old location, returning keys…starting up swim lessons and finally being able to breathe again. Maybe I’ll get some curriculum reviews up for you all of what we used this last year and how it worked for us. We’ll just see if life slows down that far ;). And then write that post letting you all know what we’re using this next year. Otherwise we’re all in a period of adjustment. The kids are enjoying their extra playtime but are also thrown off when they ask “what are we doing tomorrow?” and I don’t have a play by play of the entire day scheduled. We couldn’t get the kids into their regular swim lessons so…we joined a group of other families from our church in hiring a private swim teacher. The kids have only had their first lesson with her but she was a hit with both of them so that is excellent. Cas really needs to learn to swim. In other news our rebuild still needs lots of prayer as it’s stuck in another delay but…the roof did pass inspection last week so that’s nice 🙂 The kids are also gung ho about their summer reading program from the library and have already received their first prize of the summer. I have also had a little bit of reading time since grading stopped and have discovered the Penderwicks series and really enjoy them.
