It’s been another fun week! We learned about how Christmas is celebrated in Sweden, Spain, Uganda, Ukraine and Switzerland. We tried lots of fun foods like Kottbullar, tarta de Santiago, Ugandan egg rolls, mendazi, Kolacky, Borscht and Kartoffelsalat. We sang carols, read lots of Christmas books and watched The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Ari has used this time during Christmas school to better master her spelling skills and she is doing great. Cas has been starting learning the letter sounds and has also started trying to write more. Cas and Ari joined 2 other kids in playing bells for church and they did a very nice job. Now we’re ready to enjoy our Christmas break and pause school for a while.

Our HVAC crew has been braving the crazy wind, rain and freezing temperatures to continue roughing in our HVAC and we really appreciated it.

It’s almost Christmas! Have some fun π
I love kolacky. One of my fave Christmas cookies! Nice giant lego fort! Merry Christmas π
